Panel(s) of the Week: not from this week’s issues, but I did JUST find out about Karl Kerschl’s The Abominable Charles Christopher which manages to be sometimes funny, sometimes sad, but always endearing and beautifully drawn.

Panel Of The Week: Always been a fan of A) Hulk with the short, almost Capucine-esque ‘do’  B) The “single tear” convention. Also, not a lot to pull from in this relatively light week. (via Ultimate Hulk vs. Wolverine #4… Guess they’re finally going to actually finish this one up)

• Saying “WTF Russia?” is redundant, right?
• Archivist and Librarian friends are LOL-ing at this #AmazonFail episode. They obviously have some serious (and pathetic) problems with metadata.
• I can’t help but fear that I will wind up on a photo-blog like this someday.
• When we fight monsters we must be careful lest we become monsters.
• Today was a day for some great news, though, on the front of medicine and in the realm of justice.

So you’re telling me the same people who compare Obama to Hitler also dress their kids as little Hitler Jugen? Wow.

• Wouldn’t it be nice to see Dick Cheney locked up in a foreign prison?
• During the depression of the 1930’s, we made some pretty great choices. These days… Not so much.
• Of course, can’t give The so-called “Greatest Generation” too much credit since they were some of the primary players in turning this country into exactly what they thought they were railing against.
• I wish very bad things upon Bruce Ratner.
• Of course, times like these where all the news is ever so frustrating, it’s good to take a large step back and get some universal perspective.
